LOVE SALONE, L.L.C. is an applied AI company rooted in Sierra Leone and based in Maryland. Founded in 2023 and majority-owned by Founder & CEO Melinda Arnold, it builds TasteTwins, a native mobile app that learns what a person likes at the level of the individual dish rather than the cuisine and connects people whose taste overlaps. The iPhone build is in private testing; an Android build is in development. Co-Founder & CTO Corey Arnold leads product engineering.

OUR STORY

Melinda is from Sierra Leone. Her cultural perspective shapes Love Salone’s vision: creating technology that recognizes how personal food and connection can be.

TasteTwins is Love Salone’s flagship: food discovery and social dining shaped by personal preferences. The Gauntlet is in development for iOS and Android with a planned connection to TasteTwins, intended to contribute to food and taste understanding through play. SOS The Fairways is available through iOS and a web moderator workspace today; Android is planned.

The planned Gauntlet connection is not operational or validated by users. SOS is a separate community-software project; its current public interfaces use fictional data.

Melinda Arnold

Founder & CEO

Melinda Arnold is the Founder & CEO of Love Salone and is from Sierra Leone. She brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience, including leading a team that supports customers. Her cultural perspective shapes the company’s focus on representing food and the people who enjoy it. Her interest in food choices and health informs a longer-term research ambition that requires its own expertise, consent, and evidence.

Corey Arnold

Co-Founder & CTO

Corey Arnold is Love Salone’s co-founder, developer, and CTO. He brings a background in systems and DevOps engineering to product development. He leads native app work, backend architecture, quality assurance, and releases. His role connects the company’s ideas with working experiences and the testing needed to assess them.
